Tofino Village
Three kilometres from Middle Beach Lodge is Tofino, a picturesque coastal village with a strong maritime heritage that is the backdrop to the town’s eclectic culture. In earlier times, as the shores of the Pacific Rim became known as the graveyard of the Pacific, Tofino became a service town for early explorers, fishermen and loggers working this wild and rugged coast. Today, the town features galleries, quaint eateries, bakeries, supply stores, a pub and much more.

Views from in and around Tofino lead you to look out at Meares Island with its massive trees, and the coastline and rainforests of Clayoquot Sound. It is a view people travel thousands of miles to see.
